Delta T has teamed with Power Specialists Associates, Inc. to offer the best and most complete training resource available! PSA's premiere learning management and controlled document platform, OPTIMAS©, enables you to consolidate, organize, manage, and deliver all of your training and reference material from one, easy-to-use package.
OPTIMAS© enables you to define training standards for jobs across a department, site and/or corporation, assemble information needed to satisfy training and operating requirements, keep that information up to date, set up training "courses of study" for job positions, and manage the training process for individuals and/or various groups. The software can be deployed initially in one department or business unit and easily expanded to others over time.
- OPTIMAS© allows users to launch computer-based lessons and display existing training and reference materials on line all across the department, site, or corporation. They can access training information at any time to train jobs, check their status, check off completed tasks, and manage their progress.
- Trainers can add to, delete or modify any editable training material as needed . They can easily set up training “courses of study” for job positions (or safety!) , and manage the training process for individuals and/or groups.
- Administrators can publish training policies on line and set up a qualification process for any job or person, if desired. They can print any number of reports to validate training status for individuals or groups. You don't need to be a programmer to maintain your training documentation or use the program.
- Information in OPTIMAS© is secure. Users can access data but cannot modify it. Trainers and administrators can be issued permissions that grant them editing priviledges based upon need. Training records are only viewable by people authorized to see them.
- Document control tools in OPTIMAS© are powerful. People can submit requests for changes, and OPTIMAS© will automatically notify reviewers of the submission.
- Reviewers have a host of review options enabling them to not only accept or reject the suggested change, but to provide additional commentary on their reasoning, which becomes part of the revision history of the document in question.
- Changes that are approved are published through OPTIMAS©, and those affected by the procedural change can be notified of the new information.
Please note that this is just a survey of OPTIMAS© functions. There are many, many more. We will gladly demonstrate them in more detail and field any additional questions you may have.
An OPTIMAS© license is available for an individual department, a site, and/or a corporation. Contact us for more details, or for more information on OPTIMAS©, or to request additional literature or demos, click here to access PSA's website.
