  Add Evaporators Fundamentals to the training programs now available for the recovery area processes! This four-lesson program fully explains evaporator theory, effect & train operation, and auxiliary systems.

Don't be fooled by the "fundamentals" label. These lessons are extremely detailed, using insightful graphics, audio, color, and animation to show how these critical pieces of equipment work. Critical variables are also fully described, as is their impact on production efficiency.

As is the case with all fundamentals programs, the final assessments require trainees to solve operating problems to demonstrate their mastery of the material.

The four evaporator lessons are:

• Evaporator Principles & Theory: an overview of the evaporation process, its role in the liquor cycle, and an introduction to basic equipment, flows, heat transfer, liquor properties, and pressure
• Evaporator Effect: details the properties, components, and flows in various types of evaporator units
• Evaporator Train: focuses on operation and control of the entire evaporation train
• Auxiliary Systems: details the properties, components, function, and flows of the various auxiliary parts of a typical system
